ENERGY SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Full-time; non-exempt; benefit eligible

- St. Joseph reporting office, with a Monday – Friday work week
- We’re looking for a member‑focused team player to assist with our EnergyWise programs and rebates. You will be the go‑to person for members and contractors.
- Starting wage can range from $31.07 - $41.43 per hour based on education and experience with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement plans upon eligibility.
Member Support
- Deliver exceptional energy service direction to residential, commercial and agricultural members.
- Guide members through EnergyWise program participation and rates, processes rebates and service orders.
- Assist with energy usage questions, energy education, and conservation discussions.
Contractor Support
- Work with contractors to ensure proper equipment for EnergyWise programs.
- Help maintain strong contractor relationships and support issue resolution.
Load Control
- Assist with load control activities, member notifications, and reporting.
- Work through load control strategies and equipment communication.
Energy Use & Innovation
- Provide foundational knowledge on renewables, EVs, community solar, and future innovative energy offerings.
- Provide members with technical support.
Data Analysis & Energy Assessments
- Help create and maintain residential energy assessment tools and processes.
- Serve as backup for agricultural, commercial, and industrial assessments.
Workflow & Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate records using internal systems.
- Prepare monthly reports, track inventory, and support compliance needs.
- Process rebate information and assist with invoices and member payments.
Teamwork & Special Projects
- May help load and deliver water heaters; ability to lift 100 pounds or more.
- Collaborate as a member of the Energy Services team.
- Support trade shows and member‑facing energy focused events.
- Research and recommend new products and services that benefit members.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical program details
- Comfort working with data, software systems, and reporting tools
- Interest in energy efficiency, renewables, and innovative technologies
Preferred: Experience in residential, commercial and agricultural electric usage. Background in energy conservation programs. Five years of customer service and professional office/workflow skills.
