DIRECTOR OF POWER SUPPLY
Play a key role in shaping how energy is sourced, managed, and delivered to the community. You’ll work at the intersection of strategy and market analysis—using data and insight to balance cost, risk, and innovation. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Analyze and manage the power supply portfolio to ensure accuracy, cost alignment, and overall performance.
- Develop strategies that balance cost, risk, and reliability while identifying new opportunities within existing contracts.
- Monitor energy markets, industry trends, and policy changes to inform decision-making and long-term planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including Great River Energy, to optimize power supply and program outcomes.
- Evaluate and enhance retail energy programs to ensure competitiveness and value for members.
- Provide insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives such as rate design, budgeting, and demand response programs.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Target Salary Range: $134,000 - $180,000 annually

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Prior power supply market experience, along with knowledge of electric utility processes, practices, issues, and policies, is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of valuation techniques and quantitative analysis methods
- Strong understanding of energy markets, market instruments, and applicable market rules
- Ability to analyze and assess correlations between risks and opportunities across market conditions
- Familiarity with market data sources and experience using analytical tools and systems to support decision‑making
- A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or engineering is preferred
