Summary:

Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions? Do you have expertise in developing business analytics solutions and supporting company-wide intelligence tools? We are seeking a Senior IT Business Intelligence Developer to join our team!

This position is responsible for the development and support of company-wide business analytics solutions, and for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of current and future business analytics tools. The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer also supports other IT team members and analysts across the company as a trainer, coach and a technical subject matter expert for analytic solutions, tools and data sets.

Total Rewards:

A typical starting range for this position is $122,000 - $144,000 + annually. We offer market competitive base pay and adjust our offer accordingly based upon the value of the candidate’s knowledge, skills and experience. Responsibilities: Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to

- Design, develop, and maintain business analytics infrastructure to support decision-making across the company.

- Create and manage data models, reports, and dashboards using tools like Cognos and PowerBI .

- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective analytics solutions.

- Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of business analytics tools, troubleshooting issues and applying upgrades as needed.

- Mentor and train IT staff and business users on BI tools and best practices.

- Contribute to the strategic development and expansion of the business analytics program.

- Sense of humor and a love for making big things happen.

Qualifications: 

Knowledge typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree in management information systems (MIS) or a related field, plus 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, supporting, and implementing business intelligence systems or associated tools, or 2+ years post high school education in a technology related field and 9+ years of management information systems experience designing, developing, and supporting business intelligence systems or associated tools.

- Advanced knowledge of in one of more: Cognos, PowerBI, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and Alteryx. 

- Expertise in data modeling, mining, ETL, and business analytics toolsets.

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
