Journeyman Lineworker or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice

Traverse Electric Cooperative, Inc. is accepting applications for the position of Journeyman Lineworker or a 3rd/4th year Apprentice Lineworker. Requirements include the successful completion of an accredited lineworker training program and completion of or current enrollment in a four year Power Lineworker Apprenticeship Program approved by the Minnesota Department of Labor. The successful candidate must possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good oral and written skills, and a strong commitment to safety and our members. The successful candidate must have a current Class A CDL driver's license with a good driving record and live in close proximity to Wheaton, MN to allow for a reasonable response time to emergencies and outages. The candidate will also be on an on-call rotation.
