
IT Systems Administrator
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting IT hardware, software systems and standards to ensure efficient operations of employee facing technology solutions. Position is responsible for ownership and management of all managed employee devices including Desktops (Physical/Virtual), Laptops, Tablets, iPads and iPhones. Position will also manage the physical and virtual server life cycle that includes Hardware, Operating Systems and Virtual Platforms either on premise or hosted. This position also shares responsibility with, application, network and security systems to ensure MVEC infrastructure is reliable, accessible and secure. Successful candidate will possess the ability to research, recommend and implement technical solutions to business needs while maintaining technical security controls that ensure the confidentiality, integrity & availability of MVEC data.
The Team Members are empowered to spend most time doing MVEC’s hands-on work. Leading by example, the Team Member’s focus is to:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Desktop / Mobile Device support to include building, configuring and maintaining employee hardware. Install and maintain Operating System configurations, polices, patching and software delivery that is appropriate for each employee. Assist in helpdesk support tickets to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Implement, install and support server environments (Virtual and Physical).
- Work with MVEC’s IT Team to support company applications either hosted on MVEC infrastructure, 3rd Party or in the Cloud. Including but not limited to NISC iVUE, Cloud Phone Platform, Microsoft Office 365.
- Assist with network support and assist with architecture and support of network components, including Ethernet, firewall, switches, routers and other network components.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years' hands on experience building and configuring technologies
- Associate’s degree in IT, MIS, Computer or Data Science or related field
- Working knowledge of Windows Server and applications, VMware, Active Directory, Group policy, trouble shooting and repair of Windows Server, Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
- Ability to manage multiple prioritizes effectively and navigate a dynamic workload providing positive end-user experiences
- Effective written and verbal Communication skills, and problem solving
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Cloud
- Microsoft, VM Ware, Hardware Certifications
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Microsoft PowerShell)
Pay and Benefits:
Starting Salary: $75,875 -$83,462
