Lake Region Electric Cooperative, a member owned rural electric power and natural gas utility, is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the role of CEO.  

Lake Region is a member-owned, community-focused electric and natural gas company. We work to efficiently deliver affordable, reliable, and safe electricity to 30,000 members and to1200 natural gas customers within the Minnesota counties of Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Wilkin and Wadena. Lake Region has an operating revenue in excess of $57 Million and 71 employees. LREC wholesale electric power supplier is Great River Energy.

Lake Region is located in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, a thriving community which blends business with the beauty and pleasures of nature. The community of Pelican Rapids boasts enormous natural beauty in its sweeping fields, rolling hills, and plentiful pristine lakes. 1048 of Minnesota's 10,000 Lakes are in Otter Tail County. Successful candidates will bring a minimum of 7 years of proven leadership ability, exceptional communication skills with both the employee and public audience, strong business acumen, commitment to a team culture, extensive knowledge of the electric utility industry with subsidiary business management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
