Cable Locator

Agralite Electric Cooperative is seeking a Cable Locator to join our team. The Cable Locator is responsible for identifying, locating, and marking Agralite’s nearly 1,100 miles of underground facilities. This position is also responsible for electronically reporting and maintaining records for Minnesota’s One Call notification system. 

This position is required to work in a primarily outdoor setting, including traveling and working in all terrain and weather conditions. Applicant must have good computer and communication skills, be comfortable working with the public, have a valid Driver’s License and High School Diploma or GED. Also, an Associate Degree in an electrical field or a minimum one year of utility cable locating experience is required. A pre-employment physical and drug test will be required.
