Apprentice Lineworker

Apprentice Lineworker 1,000 Hour Position

Traverse Electric Cooperative, Inc. is accepting applications for a 1,000 hour temporary apprentice lineworker to begin in May 2025 to assist line crews in the safe construction, operation, and maintenance of our electrical distribution system. This is an hourly 40-hour work week with some possible overtime.  There is a possibility that the position may become a permanent fulltime position.

Requirements include the successful completion of an accredited lineworker training program. The successful candidate must possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good oral and written skills, and a strong commitment to safety and our members. A basic knowledge of an overhead and underground distribution system is preferred. The successful candidate must have a current Class A CDL driver's license with a good driving record.
