Account Specialist

Meeker Cooperative Light and Power Assn, located in Litchfield, MN is accepting applications for a

Full-time Account Specialist. Meeker Cooperative is an electric distribution cooperative and broadband internet provider.

• member-friendly, customer service focus
• ability to listen to determine how to best assist members/subscribers
• must be comfortable speaking on the phone and speaking to people coming in to the office
• taking and accurately processing payments
• willing to learn all aspects of the Cooperative’s programs and services
• accuracy and attention to detail are essential
• confidentiality is a must

The successful candidate should

• be a people person
• have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• possess strong organizational skills
• great attention to detail
• be able to remain focused in an active and open team environment

Computer skills should include use of:

• Outlook
• Google Maps
• Microsoft Word & Excel
• Ability to learn industry software

Training: Associates Degree or Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service preferred. Experience in electric cooperative or telecommunications/broadband industries a plus.

Salary Range: $21 - $25 per hour.
