OVERVIEW

Emotional intelligence is a skill. And like any other skill, individuals can get better at it with training and practice. This course focuses on the four core competencies of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness/empathy, and relationship management. Directors will learn how to develop and implement these competencies to enhance their
ability to interact with fellow directors and their CEO. By increasing their awareness of social and emotional behaviors directors will learn how to adapt and manage their responses to real world boardroom situations.
