IT Support Technician

The IT Support Technician position is responsible for supporting IT hardware and software systems to ensure efficient operations of employee facing technology solutions. Responsible to triage all incoming support requests documenting, tracking, and responding to team members' concerns while providing the highest level of team member satisfaction. Responds with an appropriate amount of urgency to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues including basic network and security problems. Escalate more complex issues within the IT Infrastructure and Security team. Configure and deploy hardware (PCs and Mobile Devices) to users with the appropriate software needed by the team member. Assist with assigning and auditing security permissions/logins for team members. Provides support for scanners, copiers, printers, monitors, and other peripherals. Manage physical inventory of hardware assets.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • End User support for all user facing systems - document, track, monitor, and communicate about issues and work with team members to come to a timely resolution to ensure productivity.
  • Configure and deploy hardware (PCs and Mobile Devices) to users ensuring devices are properly enrolled/managed in their respective applications.
  • Work with MVEC’s IT Business Systems team to provide secure user access and 1st level support for business applications including iVue and Aclara.
  • Manage physical inventory and assist with fulfilling supply requests of information technology equipment. Coordinate with users to deliver supplies in a timely manner.                                                                                                        57,420 - $63,162/annually)
