January 15, 2026BLC 928.1 Artificial Intelligence and the Electric CooperativesArtificial intelligence (AI) has moved rapidly into the electric industry including electric cooperatives by accelerating a variety of functions such as the processing of vast amounts of meter data, automated functions that increase reliability and enhanced member satisfaction. This course will provide electric cooperative directors a foundational understanding of AI, its jargon, implications, its applications, and strategic importance so that they can engage in conversations about AI in their boardroom and decide if this rapidly evolving technology has a role to play at their cooperative.
