Intended audience: Leadership Essentials program is designed for current and future leaders in your organization who have not attended a previous leadership development series through MREA.

Complete course schedule:

Virtual sessions will take place via Zoom video conference.
This is a web-based platform that does not require you to download any software.
In order to fully participate, a computer with a good microphone and a webcam is required.

PRESENTATION & MATERIALS 
Class size is limited to 20 people to provide maximum opportunity for participants to benefit from the instructor-led multimedia activities. For the virtual sessions each participant receives an email that includes the Zoom log in details and an attachment with materials needed for class.

CERTIFICATION
Each participant receives a certificate of completion from MREA.

INSTRUCTORS
Dana Haageson spent over a decade in the software industry serving in individual contributor and leadership roles from Product Development to Product Management/Strategy to Human Resources. As a college professor at M State, she teaches students ranging in age from Gen Z to baby boomer in the areas of Human Resources and Accounting. She also develops and delivers customized leadership, team and personal development sessions for organizations across various industries. As a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, Dana has coached nearly a thousand individuals and teams in discovering and harnessing the power of their individual and collective strengths to achieve success - both personally and professionally. She earned an Accounting degree from MN State University Moorhead and is a CPA, as well as a Certified Professional in Human Resources. Dana lives in Moorhead. She and her husband have 3 daughters.

Corey Roskamp is an adjunct professor for Ridgewater College’s Customized Training Program. He recently completed a Life Coaching Certification. He has experience in workforce development as a career navigator. In that role he helped displaced employees though assessment, coaching, career success skills, and job retention training. He earned a Workforce 180 Justice Involved Workforce Development Certification to help felons gain employment after incarceration. Corey spent two decades working with youth in various capacities. He enjoys connecting to people, delivering resources and creative problem solving. He is naturally curious about life and is always interested in the “why.” Corey is a member of No Lines Improv Team based in Hutchinson, MN.

MREA is committed to providing a safe, productive and welcoming environment for all participants and staff in MREA meetings, conferences, training programs, and events both online and in-person. All Event participants including but not limited to attendees, speakers, exhibitors, staff, students, guests and vendors, are expected to abide by this MREA Event Code of Conduct, and this code applies to all space and situations in which MREA meeting-related activities are being conducted, including virtual meetings and those sponsored by organizations other than MREA but held in conjunction with MREA Events. Participation constitutes agreement to comply with the Code of Conduct as a condition of attendance. 

2026 Late Registration
All events in 2026 will be subject to a $50 late registration fee for anyone that registers 2 weeks prior to the published event dates.
