Intended audience: Leadership Essentials program is designed for current and future leaders in your organization who have not attended a previous leadership development series through MREA.Complete course schedule:Virtual sessions will take place via Zoom video conference. This is a web-based platform that does not require you to download any software. In order to fully participate, a computer with a good microphone and a webcam is required.

For the virtual sessions each participant receives an email that includes the Zoom log in details and an attachment with materials needed for class.

INSTRUCTORSDana Haageson spent over a decade in the software industry serving in individual contributor and leadership roles from Product Development to Product Management/Strategy to Human Resources. As a college professor at M State, she teaches students ranging in age from Gen Z to baby boomer in the areas of Human Resources and Accounting. She also develops and delivers customized leadership, team and personal development sessions for organizations across various industries. As a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, Dana has coached nearly a thousand individuals and teams in discovering and harnessing the power of their individual and collective strengths to achieve success - both personally and professionally. She earned an Accounting degree from MN State University Moorhead and is a CPA, as well as a Certified Professional in Human Resources. Dana lives in Moorhead. She and her husband have 3 daughters.
Vickie Shoutz currently serves as the Senior Learning and Development Specialist for Titan Machinery and has over 40 years’ experience in managing people and providing coaching, education, and tools to management to enhance their leadership competencies. Vickie holds a SHRM-SCP (Senior Human Resource Professional) certification and has been an adjunct instructor for Ridgewater College for the past 25 years. Prior to Titan Machinery, Vickie held several management and HR positions in manufacturing environments, namely 32 years at Hutchinson Technology (TDK), 3.5 years at Miller Manufacturing, and 5 years at Heartland Ag Systems. She is a seasoned member of Toastmasters International and continues to polish her presentation skills and mentor others aspiring to improve public speaking and leadership skills.
